The Northwest Jersey Bruins has a “no cut” policy as our goal is to improve the play of all our athletes to the point where they can make a High School basketball team. We have elite teams
that will participate in state wide tournaments and basic skill teams that will get fundamental instruction and scrimmage teams of similar ability. It is understood that winning is a by
product of hard work and dedication. Our primary objective however is not winning per se but to “LEARN and IMPROVE”.

We do not wish to participate in out of state tournaments to seek national acclaim but are dedicated to promote sound basketball skills in the players of our area. The game MUST BE FUN or there is no reason for a child to want to play.
We promise to be supportive, positive and encouraging. In turn we ask our players to be dedicated, hardworking and attentive. We will not tolerate unruly or insubordinate behavior. This team is for serious players who want to excel at the sport.
It is not a casual recreational experience.

The coaches are experienced, dedicated individuals who love the game and enjoy seeing children improve and come to their own love for the sport.
